A very citrus infused west coast style IPA. Lot's of flavor comes through, notably mango. Good Malt balance. Hard to believe this comes in at over 7%!

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, apricot, orange peel, floral, grass, light caramel, biscuit, light pine, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with decent strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, apricot, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, pine, light caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish fora good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a great crisp malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. Nice complexity of citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering.

served from bottle. brewed with citra, centennial, mosaic, summit, and williamette hops.

pours a very hazy deep orange/bronze paled with slight straw yellow.

smells of pungent hops, slight cannabis, sweet tropical notes, citrus, pine. really great smelling beer.

front of the tongue, nice bitterness, very piney and dank at first but follows quickly with citrus and tropical notes. slight fruitiness. definitely earthy, slightly grassy notes. follows with sweetness, somewhat like caramel but not sugary. little bit of astringency lingers in the mouth.

perhaps my review doesn't do it justice, but this beer stands out to me in the myriad of IPAs. the blend of hop flavors with the malt backbone is quite nice. they seem to blend so well and transition between the rather "typical" flavors - pine, citrus, fruits, cannabis, etc. highly recommended!

Can: Poured a golden color ale with a generous head with good retention and some OK lacing. Aroma consists of citrus notes with light floral notes. Taste is also dominated by citrus notes with loads of floral notes and a lightly sweet malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad bit hops could be even more explosive with a little bit less residual sugars.

Purchased at the LCBO for just under $3.00 for a 473ml can. Served at 4deg C in a draught glass

A- Opens well and pours a high white head that lasts. Unfiltered and golden good

S- Very good. Lots of finishing hops. Caramel

T- Caramel and lots of it. Goodly amount of hops. Not very bitter at all

S- Very very good. Enjoyable creaminess

O- Very good. Not the hop bomb that I like but still very good. Boneshaker at the same price is a better beer

Food Pairing

This wonderful little IPA went well with... Monte Cristo sandwiches

Enjoy!
