An American-style lager that’s crisp, light, and provides an over-whelming desire to fetch a stick.

Sampled on tap at Sleepy Dog; March 2011
The beer arrives with a pale, pale-gold color and is topped by a pale, off-white colored head (really mostly just white). The aroma is very slight with a touch of thin grainy character and some slight corn like aromatics. There is no real hop aroma at all, but there does seem to be a touch of soap like character here for some reason.
The beer tastes sweet with flavors reminiscent of corn; it is actually quite cloying, despite the lightness, but this is sole contributed to the fact that it seems like no hops were harmed in the brewing of this beer (perhaps it too is triple hopped :-). There is no bitterness to the flavor, with a weak graininess up front. If this is super cold it is not too bad, but that is because it doesn’t really taste like anything.

This is a *light American lager*, not a pilsner. That is, it's a competitor to Bud, etc. In my opinion, it does that well. It's not a style I choose to drink, but this is a well-made example of that style. It has very little aroma and flavor, *as intended*.
Appearance - straw yellow, clear, with white head.
Aroma - very light, but clean.
Flavor - also very light, with some corn notes, clean.

I tried this in the beer sampler at the brewery. Other than the clever name, I wasn't impressed with this one. It was a very (stress very) light yellow color, without much taste at all. This is disappointing, because I was expecting more from it. If you're sampling the beers, it's worth a try, but don't expect much from it.

very yellow light colour, with carbonation bubbles. Lacey fresh, and a mild yeastiness. Experienced on tap at this new brewpub, though not very drinkable. Labelled as a pilsner, however its at that carbonated lagerish borderline and made that style. Rather thin mouthfeel.
