Smooth & perfectly balanced, yet with a cascade hop finish. Makes you want to fight wild animals.

Pours a golden copper with a finger of foamy head that dissipates to a thin ring with little lacing. Faint aroma of citrus and pine. Taste follows nose. Solid.

12oz can, best by 02/10/2020. A frothy ivory head sticks to the glass as it fades atop a slightly hazed copper colored ale. Muted aroma is mostly earthy & spicy hops with a hint of pine & citrus. Well balanced IPA with a bready caramel malt backbone and modestly bitter hops adding citrus and earthy pine. Medium body, ample carbonation, somewhat resinous with a balanced finish for an IPA. This was a pretty average American IPA, nothing really to complain about, but nothing to get excited about either.

12 oz. can:
Pours golden with a thin white lasting head. Lacing sticks.
The smell is of pine with some citrus, bread and a hint of caramel.
The taste is not "off", just mild. A touch of pine, some caramel. A mild dryness in the rather abrupt finish.
On the light side for an IPA, but smooth enough and it holds together.
Pretty much a generic, more mild and balanced IPA. Decent, but nothing particularly special about it.

Pours clear golden color, small white head that's gone in a flash, no lacing at all.
Nose gets some pine and citrus, flavor follows, with some malt sweetness. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated.
This is one of those generic IPA's that everyone makes, there's nothing particularly good or bad about this beer.

LOOKS: A pretty clear, caramel-golden, with a finger of creamy head that settles slowly. Nice thick lacing down the glass. Lots of bubbles rising.
AROMA: Very muted smell, overall. Some bready caramel notes, and maybe some faint candied citrus.
TASTE: Same thing in the flavor. Other than a slight bitterness, I'd never consider this an IPA. More like an English Mild.
FEEL: Average carbonation, medium body, fairly dry.
OVERALL: Fresh can, here, so, my opinion of an IPA is very different than the folks at S.D.

Solid IPA. Had a decent head from the tap. It's more of a looker than a smeller; great color. Excellent taste. Nothing to crazy with a hint of citrus. If you like most IPAs, you'll like this.

Served from tap at the brewery into a standard pint glass.
Color is a deep golden amber,
Smell is clean and crisp.
Taste is bitter, sans citrus, almost acerbic.
Mouthfeel is rich, fine carbonation, can taste the added sharpness.
The head is supreme, with a wonderful lacing that remains long after the beer is gone.
Nice beer and one I'd recommend to my more bitter
