This looks like a nice little brew shop. It is mostly an organic/hydroponic gardening shop - an extension of a small chain from North Carolina - but they have devoted one sizable room to home brew supplies. They have a large number of Brewer's Best kits, of which I am not overly fond, but they do have a decent selection of loose grains and adjuncts, in both small lots and bulk sacks, and lots of equipment, at least all of the basics you'd need, plus a couple of higher level pieces, like equipment for making starters. I didn't delve deeply into the prices, but what I saw looked fairly priced. The hop and yeast selection is a little weak. There were no fresh hops or plugs, but they had an adequate selection of pellets, including a few of the more difficult-to-find varieties, like Warrior and Simcoe. Prices looked good - around $3 per ounce. The yeast selection was the major weak spot - they had perhaps a dozen varieties of White Labs test-tube colonies, but no Wyeast at all. Still, there was plenty to get started and had I been stopping in to buy serious supplies, I could have found plenty to keep me busy.

I didn't test the staff's beer making knowledge, but they seemed extremely friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Had I been seriously buying rather than just looking when I visited, I would have been glad for the attention.

And the gardening stuff looked really amazing, but that's another website.
