A 750ml corked and caged bottle, 2018 vintage, with a best before date of 15th November 2039. Poured into a De Cam stemmed glass.
Appearance: A slightly hazy orange pink colour with a big two finger white head that had pretty good retention while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, tart, cherry candy, mixed berries, oak, vinegar, with light citrus zest notes.
Taste: Fruity, tart, a touch sour, gooseberry, cherry, oak, a splash of citrus, and a touch of vinegar.
Mouthfeel: Dry, prickly, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A good mix of fruit creating a fruit punchy like aroma and flavours that was really enjoyable and easy to drink.

Thanks, Sam.
A fantastic fruit blend on the nose here - the berries and the tart gooseberries with the dark, jammy notes of blackberries brightened by the violent tartness of gooseberries with the sour cherries providing a tannic rotundness. Lemony and lactic base lambic pair well with the berry flavors with blackberry seed tannins being minimal. The fruit character is really ripe and explosive. Excellent.

2015 bottle consumed 7/2017
White head. Ruby red with a peach hue to it.
Lots of sour fruit here. A mix of fruit shows, but it is tough to identify the gooseberries. The sour cherries and blackberries show more. It has an apricot flavor. Lemon citrus. Sour and tart. Mouth puckering. Acidic.
Fun beer to try, but I'd like more fruit and less sour.
