A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

It's Basketball season! This beer is now called Suns Bru. (Though I'm not sure if that's a seasonal thing. I'm somewhat new to this state.) My best friend loves this beer. She's a comfort food lover.

Pours with a color like straw and an eggshell white head with a somewhat brief lifespan...

...delivering an aroma of wheat chaff and cornmeal with faint fruity notes of yellow apple and green pear...

...which barely make it across on the palate. This amazingly actually tastes like wheat chaff. As I told my friend, it's about half a point above Miller High Life in flavor.

The texture is quite nice though. Very crisp and dry.

This is shotgunning beer. But if you like to sip it, power to you. And cheers!

12 oz. can - Freshest by 11/27/19:

Pours clear golden with a foamy white head that eventually becomes and island. Trailing lace.

The smell is of grain with a subtle fruity noble hop touch.

The taste is of sweet grain - slightly nutty. A very subtle floral, slightly fruity hop balance in the clean finish.

The feel is smooth and crisp. Very easy to drink.

A decent, basic interpretation of the style. An easy, refreshing brew on a hot summer day.

LOOKS: A very clear, light golden with a 2" white cap, and lots of bubbles rising. Mild lacing.
AROMA: White bread, floral, sunflower seeds.
TASTE: white bread crust, malty, grain, and honey/floral sweetness. Just a hint of hop bitterness, almost nonexistent.
FEEL: Medium body, average carbonation, slick.
OVERALL: Easy going, and very chug-able. Nice honey sweetness if that's your thing. Nothing off putting on this one.

Not used to this style of beer. More complex than the simple lager it may appear to be. Honey-like feel and taste. Nevertheless, not a really sweet brew.

More subtle and flavorful than the light name suggests. (Like sun tea, what could be lighter than a sun-brewed beer?)

Will be trying more kolsch beers.

Clear light gold color with rapidly disappearing white cap.

Mild aroma of honeyed malt backed by slightly spicy floral hops.

Taste is much richer than the nose implies. It's really more than mild and, although simple, is certainly no light brew although it may please those who like lite beer generally. Hops are present in more a flavoring sense than a bittering one, just enough to balance the malt. Finish is clean and refreshing.

Light medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Pleasant and pleasing, no complaints here, yet it's clearly above the ordinary.
