A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

Review from BeerAdvocate Magazine Issue #55 (August 2011):

Clarity is fine; pale golden color. Smells of fermented pears, fresh-baked crackers and light floral hops. Malt palate is near immaculate and intensely smooth. Mild bite of apple within, but the dry graininess is the real show here. Balance from the hops with a pinch of flavor in the finish. Long dry finish, the aftertaste is very clean, which makes this beer extremely refreshing ... the taste buds ask for another sip. Nailed it for the style, and nailed it for being so damn drinkable.

Poured a nice clear gold with a thin ring of nice white head. Beautiful German lager appearance. Scents of German yeast, some hoppy notes and crystal malt. What I expect in a kolsch. Flavor is malty sweet, good crystal malt sweetness and bready flavors, this is balanced with a nice German hop presence which keeps it from being too sweet and bready. Quite nice. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation, easy to drink, nice and refreshing. This is a good kolsch, worth drinking. It's one of the better Four Peaks offerings, behind their stout and IPA.

A pretty decent sized white head takes its time to settle into a nice lacing above this clear pale yellow golden colored beer.

Soapy lemony sour citrusy aroma with some grain malt attributes as well.

Light dry malted grain mixed with an almost sweet citrusy hops taste.

A drying aftertaste with just a tiny bit of the taste sticking around with this light bodied beer.

An alright tasting lighter beer, I'd like to have a cooler full of these on a really hot summers day, whether I being golfing, fishing, or just kickin' back.

Enjoyed on tap at the Scottsdale location (brewed in Tempe). Fresh smell, light yellow and very lacey. A mild bitterness. Hits the mark, as they mostly do,batting average rather than home run hitters, showing skill. Average mouthfeel. A good start, and nicely drinkable at lunchtime.

Had this on tap a Magpies Pizza in Tucson on a warm April day

Poured golden with a slight pearl white head. Average head retention & lacing

S: Slight bready notes

T: Some grainy notes & lemony hops. A bit of breadyness & peppery hops as it warms. Finishes with citric hop snap, Barely eeked out the 3.5

MF: Light bodied with lively carbonation

Drank easy, but just a run of the mill Kolsch

Hazy but vibrant yellow color with a huge frothy stark white head with longevity.

Grainy aroma with white grapes and a little fruity.

The flavor is less fruity, more grainy. There's a metallic aftertaste in the finish.

Mouthfeel is crisp, light, and refreshing.

It's a pretty decent kolsch and an easy drinker.

A- This is a nice colored light beer with some haze.

S- smelled extremely floral

T- a bit hoppy but a decent tasting beer. It had a strong floral taste, but not overpowering.

M- watery on the mouth. One of those beers you would lose count if you started drinking.

D- this beer would be a good one to sit with some friends and kickback on a hot day. I can almost tell that the flavor would change dramatically with the outside temperature.

I'm rating this beer pretty high because I just simply liked it. And it was hot out and this really hit the spot.

S - Can! I love that it's in a can. Awesome!

A - Hazy but seemed appropriate. A very pale straw off white.

S - Citrusy but yeasty.

T - It's very light with some citrus to it. But it was well balanced.

M - Very light. It pours with a nice head but doesn't seem that carbonated.

D - A very drinkable beer. Especially on a hot summer day. These go down quickly! I shared a 12 pack with some friends. I would purchase again for sure.

A - pale golden beauty. white fluffy head and some really nice lacing

S - bready malts

T - super clean bready malts and a harmonious amount of bittering hops

M - light and smooth

D - I was in Arizona and granted it was only spring but it was hot (to me) and this was a perfect beer. Session defined.
