Had a chance to visit this brewpub while in the area attending the Spring Training facility for the Anaheim Angels and a Chicago Cubs - San Francisco Giants spring training exhibition game in Mesa. The brewpub is very close to the Arizona State University campus, so the crowd was young and energetic. The brewery is inside a brick warehouse dating back to the 19th century. Entering from the back of the building, you are led down a narrow hallway that opens up into the bar area. The front has a nice patio area for dining and we saw several people taking advantage of the cool evening air. Finding parking was a problem for us, but it was a Saturday night. This place has a huge bar that accomodates dozens of people. Very rustic. I tried two of their beers: the 8th Street Ale and the Raj IPA. The IPA was excellent, but the 8th Street had a very tantalizing bitterness and interesting malt taste. I like their logo and purchased a few pint glasses. This is definitely on my list of places to stop next spring when we once again invade the MLB Spring Training Cactus League.

Great atmosphere, great help.
The beer I had was good, but not mindblowing, I had a dark beer that reminded me of Guinness, only more malty.
Food was ok, I had a burger, it was dry, not too tasty. the fries, on the other hand, were excellent.
Did I mention the atmosphere? I got a real good vibe from this place, it was a pleasure to hang out there, no matter what I thought of the food or beer.
