Warehouse feel, always busy, and a fair selection of homemade brews and food.
I was surprised when I discovered that I hadn't review Four Peaks as I have stopped in several times over the last few years when in town for business. The place always seems to be busy. On my latest visit, there was a 15-20 minute wait for an outside table on a Tuesday at 6 pm. Inside, there's a warehouse feel: tall ceilings, open space, and a bit on the dark side. A great place to sit when it's blistering hot outside. Outside is a big patio facing the student housing across the not so busy street. Beerwise, they typically carry their standard offerings and a seasonal or two. If you're there Wednesday (and until it lasts) something goes on cask. Unfortunately, no seasonals this time. The quality is slightly better than average brewpub. Service is respectable, never had to go empty, a bit slow sometimes on the food service, otherwise good. Food is slightly upscale pub food, but well prepared.
Would I return? Now that I've been to Four Peaks a number of times it's starting to get a bit old. If there was something different in the area, I might give that a try. As a solid standby, though, it makes a good fallback.

Great atmosphere, great help.
The beer I had was good, but not mindblowing, I had a dark beer that reminded me of Guinness, only more malty.
Food was ok, I had a burger, it was dry, not too tasty. the fries, on the other hand, were excellent.
Did I mention the atmosphere? I got a real good vibe from this place, it was a pleasure to hang out there, no matter what I thought of the food or beer.
