"Brewed with the finest Worcestershire Green Golding Hops from Stocks Farm, Suckly, and were freshly picked and used in the brew the very next day!"
500ml Bottle: BBD Apr 15. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 23 Feb 14. Bought at the brewery after a visit on 22 Feb 14.
Very pale brew, with a wisp for a head.
Mild hop aroma and taste: not a lot going on to be honest, expected more. This may well be their first green hop brew, but it lacks character, depth and flavour.
Refreshing enough, but Dave (the brewer/owner) has missed a trick here, the green hops didn't carry enough flavour and needed a helping hand from something else to make the beer hoppier. I'm almost tempted to call it watery.
Bland and pretty boring, subtle flavours and aromas may well have passed me by, but I like to think I'm fair with my writings: this wasn't up to much.
