Poured out of a short stubby brown bottle, into a Vicaris chalet.

Pours a nice golden color with a light frothy head. Decent lacing, but expected for a tripple.

On the drier side then most, more spices then fruit.

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of spicy peppery notes with medium sweet malt notes is bang on style. Taste is also dominated by peppery yeast with some medium sweet Belgian malt notes and light fruity notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable beer and brew according to style.

Had it on tap,

very nice golden/yellow clear pour with a nice thick 2" whte head.

Nice aroma with shuttle floral and spice notes.

Taste was smooth, with a mild sweet, and a little hit of sour flavor.

Just beginning my enjoyment of Belgian Tripels. The 8.5% ABV is very well hidden.

A very good beer

330ml bottle, another squat, bulbous Vogon-esque affair, with an imperious, old-world appearing label. Works for me.

This beer pours a very hazy, medium golden straw hue, with prominent dark, flaky swirling sediment, and two fingers of puffy, marshmallowy off-white head, which leaves some rocky bluffs of lace around the glass as it evenly, and smartly sinks away.

It smells of grainy, somewhat sweet pale malt, white grape juice popsicles, white pepper, a bit of sugary tropical fruit, tame, loitering yeast, a touch of thin vanilla, and soft, lulling alcohol. Quite enticing, even if I was still 10 years old. Which I'm not. Anyways, the taste is bready pale malt, of the Wonder variety, at least in terms of weight, some enhanced, concentrated white grape fruitiness, mild earthy yeast, a bit of candy sugar, ethereal earthy hops, and some well-masked warming alcohol.

The bubbles are present, but generally disposed to their support role, the body a barely medium weight, and mostly smooth, the lingering booze and yeast pips having their after the fact say. It finishes off-dry, bordering on sweet, with the fruity malt having little problem staving off those pesky yeast and warming effects.

A pleasant enough Tripel, with a fruitiness that maintains enough distractingly complex nuances to make me temporarily forget the seething, less than integrated booze. Good for a cold night's respite, I suppose, so I'll remember that when that experience returns, as they've inexplicably disappeared, for the moment, and in the middle of January at that.

330ml bottle poured into tulip 29/11/12

A bright golden orange with lots of suspended particles and a few chunks of yeast being moved around by fast streams of bubbles, a large bone white head quickly falls to a fingers width and just sorta sets up camp, there's still foam at the bottom of the glass and several partial rings of lace are left behind

S sweet candied pineapple mix well with some yeast, spice and faint bubblegum and earthy notes, some vanilla and bread work well for it and just a slight hint of booze, not the most complex triple but I'm loving the smells coming out of my glass

T more fruity notes and lots of yeast and slightly more booze, not as strong as the nose but still solid

M quickly fluffs up after entry, slightly sweet and medium bodied, has a earthy fruity finish that lingers

O I could have another of these no issues, drinkable and well priced, I loved the nose and can't complain elsewhere

I didn't know what to expect from this random offering and I'm pretty happy after the fact. I can see myself buying this again and its yet another welcome addition to the shelves here in Alberta
