L- Very pale gold, pale for a 'standard lager' (Stelal/Kronenbourg/Heineken etc), surprisingly so for a Tripel; not a negative, just a surprise. Some sediment/haze and a 2Cm pillowy white head.
S- Just some mild sweet bready notes and grains.
T- Boof! Expectations weren't high, then in rolls the full Tripel-cavalry of flavour, feel and bam a spank of ABV% zing across the chops dramatic enough to make me reflexively shudder. The flavour is on the dryer side for a Tripel, it has good hopping bringing balancing dryness, and all upon a solid base of pretty pungent rich deep blended fruit notes. I'm thinking aling the lines of British Xmas pudding and mince pies re: the depth/intensity.
F- Lovely balance. It's 8.5% and wow there is no being discreet about that here. It's a big solid slow-sipping kind of beer.
O- Very nice indeed, the whole taste/feel etc came together wonderfully. I'd very happily buy and drink this sgain.
Bought from BelgiumInABox in Antwerp/BE for delivery to me in London/UK 330ml BB: 08/08/2021
Elegent understated labeling in deep blue, yellow and gold the design of which suggests the Roman Empire... ps it's similar to that shown here though now updated and even more classical and with Roman styling hints!

Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium top of white head that dissolves slowly. Lots of yeast sediments.
Aroma is of yeast, spices , candies, flowers and fruits like apples, pears ,lemons and some slight tropical notes.
The taste starts of sweet and fruity with a spicy dryness and some light malt tones in the back. The finish is quite bitter for a triple but the fruity notes are also quite strong . The aftertaste has a good lenght. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a medium carbonation and medium body.
Is a good belgian triple, but is far better examples out there.

Pours chuncky , cloudy orange, good head.
standard aromas. sweet, phenolic.
Another not much to it belgian strong ale. so much alcohol so little taste.
It's ok, better with food but why bother? a 3.6% bitter provides loads more flavour for less money and more volume.....

Another exquisite Belgian Tripel. (How do they do that?)
In addition to the typical malt/yeast complexities of citrus fruit, the Smells of spices offer an interesting backdrop to the main show. The Taste makes more prominent the spices, maybe some pepper; but all that yeasty fruit is still playful. Then very quietly towards the end, this refreshing sour peeps in. Feel is unusually soft for so much going on and finishes slightly dry. Alcohol is barely noticeable.
OA: I for sure will have this again as I couldn't unpack everything I was tasting. But this I know: Vicaris Tripel is well put together. No matter how hard this is to find, it will be a particular pleasure to drink again.

Chill hazed gold colored ale with a big white colored head.
Smells sweet with the scent of apples cinnamon. Sweet with a peach scent. Scent of sandalwood and cork.
Starts out sweet and fruity with a caramel after taste. Taste of apples and peaches. Mildly woody not a lot of coriander. Honey malt taste.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall good but don't pay a lot for it.
