Glass: Jopen brouwerij stem glass
Name on Label: 5 Quinto by Vicaris
Image on Label: no image just white name on dark-blue
ABV: 5.0%
Ingredients according to label: Water, barley malt, hops, sugar, yeast
Expiry date: 20JAN13
LOT: n/a
beautiful thick medium bubbled head that lasts forever and leaves a thick lacing with clear golden body and lots of carbonation
smell of lemon and orange, yeast
taste of belgium yeast, gentle bitterness and some sweetness
foam incredibly light; carbonation is felt but much more gentle than it looks therefore not as refreshing as I thought
It is a really beautiful, fine beer. But also the taste and smell are quite good for just 5% of alcohol and the style. This would be the perfect beer served at posh events for those who prefer a beer over champagne or would like to go lower on the alcohol. This one is classy beer and I see non regular beer drinkers enjoying it. Huge recommendation!
While I am sipping the last bit, this incredible foam is still there. Wow.

Ordinary modern BPA. Nothing special to be said about it. Drink and forget or better switch to more tasty specimen.

Gold color, very hazy. Foam white, high and lasting fine to medium grained, not very nicely breaks.
The aroma of malt, a little spice notes and a toilet. The aroma resembles lager and miserable all the time is this impression that beer stinks.
Taste: here much better, there are fruits, especially lemon, grapefruit, coriander, and further very delicate malt.
Gentian grapefruit, not too high.
High saturation, mind.

On-tap 10/30/2015 at Doherty’s Ale House, in Warwick, RI, served in a snifter glass.
A: The beer is a deep yellowish gold color, with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves a very thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains wheat, Belgian yeast, citrus, light caramelized malts and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out with mildly sweet flavors of citrus and caramel. Then some breadiness comes in from Belgian yeast and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. The hops presence is good for the style, but not too strong and creates a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is very clean.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while if you’re in the mood for the style.

Small head that settles to rim bubbles. No lace. Cloudy. Straw to gold color.
Fruity with berry and banana for the nose.
Less Belgian and more fruity. Very effervescent without enough body to counteract the lightness. Short aftertaste. Not bad, but not true to style, imho.

From the 11.2 oz bottle. Sampled on April 29, 2015.
The pour is yellow with a modest white head. Light carbonation.
Toasted malt aroma. Belgian yeast and sweetness. Mild grassy notes and tangerine.
Light and refreshing body.
The taste tends to have a peppery bitterness that lingers for a short time.
