Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of wheat, grain, earth, spice, citrus zest, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with wheat, spice, yeast, and slight citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink.

Poured out of a can into the only glass available- at least it was clean. The head of the beer was sadly lacking, even after the perfect pour. It lasted all of a minute before dissapating into a thin foamy line around the outside of the beer in the glass. Pretty wheat color, hazy with tiny bubbles rising to the top- good signs for a wit. The scebt is definitely there with a clean orange/ coriander/biscuit aroma. Wheat ever so slightly in the background. Crisp, clean wheaty beer goes down smoothly. The spices are light, as is the citrus, on the tongue. In fact, the orange is re scentally more lemoblossom in flavor. Upon first taste I thought the carbonation night be lacking, but as the beer breathes in the glass, the bubbles come more alive on my palate. Overall a more than decent brew. Crisp, light, clean, and everything the style should be. But nothing overwhelmingly mind blowing to really knock your socks off. A great entry level craft brew.

This has a light straw golden color with little foam. There’s a light lemony hop aroma to it. I’m not sure what the “Belgian spices” contribute. Thin bodied, with a taste of the lemon zest and a quick finish.
I applaud the effort to bring in a beer under 4%. I just wish it was one I would want to have more than one of. There’s definitely more character to this than a macro lite but there’s definitely better session brews available in the same distro area.
