I have been hesitant to review wine and spirit depot because I didn't want to tell anyone about this hidden jewel.Chris the manager is a beer nut with all kinds of knowledge that shows in the great selection ,he definatly makes the most of the limited space. All of my favorite brewers like Firestone walker, the bruery, dieu de ceil, founders, maine brewers, lost abbey and jolly pumpkin are all well represented along with a great Belgian selection. My go to store if I want to try something new .You can always get a deal on their beer of the month usually a variety 12 pack for around $13 I usually grab one with a bomber or two and escape for around $25-$30 which most of you know isn't easy to do at a good bottle shop. Overall one of the most well put together craft selections I've seen on the south shore.

wasn't very impressed. selection wasn't bad, but after spending 15 minutes picking out beer, they wouldn't let me buy them because they "don't accept out of state licenses." how is that a thing? and I was with a guy from massachusetts and they wouldn't let him buy it either because he was with me. they obviously got busted for selling to minors and made their policy ridiculous to deal with it. I was buying six beers for $70 too.

My girlfriend’s parents live down in Marshfield so I visit the area often and usually make a stop by on my way back to RT3.

This place has a terrific selection, not vast, but you can tell this guy strategically plans out what he is going to order and put on his shelves. Also, I have noticed, that some of the more rare beers that he has he’ll only put one out. I bought a bottle of Parabola here one weekend and thought it was the only one left, by the end of the weekend there was another one on the shelf. The pricing is average to lower than what you would pay in a downtown Boston shop. There is one guy that I see regularly and he seems to know the most about the beer portion of the store, like, when new product is coming in and such. There was a woman who came up to me to offer help but told me straight up that she didn’t know much about beer and especially “all these beers”. I laughed and said thanks for your help.

This is my little secret that I don’t tell many people about. You wouldn’t expect a place like this to have the selection they have. Since I am the first one to review this store I believe it will somewhat stay that way. Plus I kind of like all you BAers so I’ll let you in on this gem.
