Just across the street from Safeco field and the Seahawks football stadium, this brewpub is located in a renovated warehouse, it's huge. Big , half moon shaped bar with lots of tables downstairs and a loft with more seating. A gift shop packed with Pyramid clothing, glasses and various brewania. The food is decent here but a bit pricey. Big on tap selection of Pyramid products which always seem to taste better here than when bottled. I've never been here and seen the place empty. The wait staff is generally prompt and friendly but typically not beer savvy. Off street parking here is tight. Avoid this bar during Mariner or Seahawk home games- it's a zoo. (661 characters)

I dropped in at Pyramid Alehouse for the first time the other day and I was rather impressed. I'd been tempted to go here after ballgames before, since it's just across the street from Safeco Field, but it's always extremely packed. On this non-ballgame evening, however, it was only at about half capacity.

The décor has kind of an industrial feel and brewing equipment is visible, which I always like. I sat at the bar and service was excellent; the bartender was knowledgable, enthusiastic and fast -- what else could you want?

There were 15 or so beers on tap, including both Pyramid's mainstays as well as several seasonal and one-off beers that were interesting to see and sample. The beer is decent enough, but I liked the interesting variety of stuff they chose to have on. As for food, I had the reuben and was not disappointed.

I will try to return to Pyramid again in the coming months to see what other interesting short-term beers they make available. (973 characters)
