I probably would have never set foot inside this place if it weren't for the reviews on this site. Definitely a large selection to choose from. Pretty much all of the beer is available in singles. You walk to the very back of the store and along the back wall is where you will find the fridges filled with singles. The selection is fairly up to date with the seasons, but there are a few lone summer seasonals still sitting in there.

I went in today to hopefully find some Hopslam, but was out of luck in that aspect. But I did luckily find bombers of Great Divide Espresso Oak Aged Yeti. Big score in my book, as I was just blown away by the normal Yeti a few weeks ago.

I had visited here a couple of weeks ago, and scored some Weyerbacher, Dark Horse, Troegs, Corsendonk, and Tranquil 900. Also spotted the Bruery Saison De Lente, which I ended up snagging today. They also have some of the rarer Hoppin Frog brews on hand(BA BORIS, Raw Hop, DORIS). I havent had a chance to talk to Chewy yet about getting some beers I have been seeking in as of yet, but I did call them today and I will probably end up talking to him tomorrow or Thursday. Definitely a place you should check out if you are in the area.

Funky store seemingly in the middle of nowhere in Suburban Canton, Ohio. I don't think you would bother to stop here unless you know where you're going... from the road it looks like a cheap convenience store, the kind where unsavory folks hustle and loiter outside.

Inside, sure, it ain't that much better. But be patient grasshopper and find the beer! Wow, just about the first thing I stumbled upon was a cooler full of single beers, including Arcadia Bourbon Shipwreck Porter, Elevator Bully Goat Whiskey Barrel Red Ale, Bell's Third Coast, De Proef Cleveland...

Packs of Great Divide Blackout, Dark Horse Big Dick's and Cereal Killer, bombers of Stone Coconut and Weyerbacher Lupulus and more packs of Fat Head's, Bell's Dogfish (Burton Baton), Brooklyn (Black Chocolate), Triton. Definitely a great, unusual selection.

The manager/owner/whatever/whoever is nice and knowledgeable, he chatted with me about his favorite cellared/vintage beers. Prices are a lil' high, though: $5.99 for Arcadia BA Shipwreck and Traquair 900, $2.79 for other singles and $9.99 for a 4-pack of Fat Head's Headhunter. Or maybe not?

I like this place.

Appearances may be deceiving when it comes to Erik's: it's a small, local grocery/convenience store with no indication of a great beer selection; just BMC advertisements in the window. But, step inside and head to the back, and a great variety of craft beer awaits you.

Most prominent when discussing Erik's is the great variety of singles; there are probably between 150 and 200 different bottles available, with multiple selections from Ithaca, Tröegs, Bell's, Founders, Flying Dog, Dogfish Head, Brookyln, Left Hand, Heavy Seas, and many others. A good number of imported singles too, with quite a few Belgians on display. Price markups from six-packs are always reasonable, and well worth it in return for such a good selection right in Canton (and far better than spending gas money and time on a drive to Akron, Kent, or Cleveland to buy beer otherwise). Also of note, all singles are kept refrigerated.

There are many six-packs on the back wall of coolers too, just beneath the singles. Great Lakes beers are mainly sold this way (if they're in stock; I suspect they're far and away the top selling craft beers here). A few bombers are in the coolers as well, but just to the right of them are five or so more shelves of bombers; at least half of these are imports (lots of Samuel Smith and Unibroue, with less common offerings popping up from time to time). Good selection of Akron's own Hoppin' Frog too. Occasionally you'll find something unique here; my most recent surprise find was the Bruery's Saison de Lente (not excessively rare, but this is Canton, Ohio we are talking about).

Not sure how quickly their beer moves off the shelf, but there seems to be decent rotation with the seasons, and of beers with best-by dates, I've only noticed a few that were past their prime (mostly wheaty summer seasonals). Service is good here; everyone is friendly even if they aren't particularly knowledgeable about beer. If Chewy is working when you stop in, he knows the selection well and will be able to answer any questions you may have.

Really cool place! I used to live in N Canton and never realized what a kick ass craft beer selection Erik's has!! Picked up Stone, DFH, Southern Tier, and others here! Nice selection of Bell's too.

It's right behind the old Hoover company on Maple in North Canton. The staff was really cool and knowledagble of craft beers. We hope to score some HopSlam this winter.

Would be really great if our friends in Indiana - ugh ugh Three Floyd's would show some love to the Buckeye state and share your beers with US!!!

Went to this place last night by the recomendations of the couple of reviews here. I was pleasantly surprised.

Walk in the store and head to the last row on the right. The store has the craft beer mainly broken down into singles (they had most of their GL stuff in 6 packs). They had a wide range of singles and bombers (Rogue, Southern Tier, Lagunitas, Stone, Hoppin Frog, and a lot more I can't think of off the top of my head).

The thing I liked most is that they had all of their craft beer refrigerated.

Staff was friendly, but the guy at the counter didn't know much about what they were selling.

Overall, I was impressed by this store and will visit it frequently. The best beer store I've been to so far in the Canton area

Another place I have passed dozens of times without ever considering there would be a good beer selection inside. The "Over 300 Varieties of Beer" part of their sign outside was a good clue though. The store is on East Maple between Cleveland and Main and Market. There is a small lot out front that seems to be enough for the constant flow of customers.

The place looks like a typical convenience store both inside and out, except for the small deli counter and coolers full of beer in the back of the store. There is also a shelf with imports at room temperature.

The beer selection is pretty solid, and there are a ton of singles available to mix your own six pack. Some of the domestic micros they carry include Hoppin' Frog, Great Lakes, Tröegs, Two Brothers, Ithaca, Lagunitas, Rogue, Stone, and many more. As for imports there are the typical selections from the UK, Germany and Ireland plus a few Belgians and a really thorough batch from Russia.

Service was good on a Saturday afternoon.

Overall this place is definitely worth a stop for a beer lover. One minor ding is the dating on some of the beer seems suspect. I am frankly unsure how they support the craft beer selection because as I shopped, customer after customer came to the beer aisle grabbing cases of Natty Light or whatever. Either way this is definitely a place to seek out when in North Canton.

By far the best 'singles' selection anywhere in town. If he dont have it in "CHEWY" will do his best to get it for you! nice little hole in the wall definetly worth checking out. Prices are pretty good and everybody I have met has always been extremely nice but sometimes not real knowledgable, oh well really cool place any how, check er out! If you like wine ,seems like they have a pretty large selection of this available also(must admit didn't go near it and know nothing about it!)Also lunch meat and snacks are also available
