Poured into a pint glass from a 12oz bottle. Puors a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Decent head retention. Not much lacing.

Nice hoppy smell and slightly grainy. Some citrus scent as well.

Nice and light at first finishing with a good crisp hop flavor.

Nice light body that leaves some hop aftertaste. Mostly makes my tongue feel hoppy. Lots of carbonation.

Not a bad beer and great for a hot summer day.

It has hay like aroma that is also somewhat metallic and grainy. It has a good off white head and lace. It has blonde brassy yellow body with just a slight bronze hue and it is a good looking beer. It tastes grainy with some malt hints. It is semi-bitter. The mouth feel is thin with a bit of carbonation bite. Not bad at all.

Pours medium gold with a fair head. No true lace.

Some of the elements that show up for kolsch -- some grape vine and appropriate malty notes.

Some decent malt notes, with appropriate grain and light bitterness balances. An ok version of the style, but missing a lot of elements of fine kolsch. Finish is a bit dried out, which works.

Medium body, good carbonation.

Not bad, but not great. Better more refreshing brews out there. Would love to have this on tap.

Poured from the bottle into a huge liter mug.

Appearance- Pours to roughly 1/4 of the glass, head fills it to 1/2. Head quickly dissapates with no lacing. Clear golden with an extremely thin head over the top with splotchy patching.

Smell- Spicy hop aroma with a bit of a corn malty backbone. Mostly the hop but the malt scent is there.

Taste- Light and smooth. This is definately a kolsch to be certain. Not the best I've ever had, but very good nonetheless. Does taste a little of cooked corn, which is more an 'off' flavor than an 'on' flavor. Aftertaste of sweetness lingers on the tongue.

Mouthfeel- Smooth and refreshing. The only lingering taste is the slight spice of hops on the tounge. The corn flavor upfront doesn't stick around and the beer is ultimately enjoyable.

Drinkability- Very good. With a low ABV one could drink many (even to the point of filling this huge 1Liter mug) and not be too worse for the wear.

a clean golden yellow pour with 2 fingers of white detergent-like head. very bready smelling, hints of lemon citrus. very subtle tasting beer, however very refreshing... slightly citrusy bready finish.

light body with high carbonation gives this beer a crisp finish. a very refreshing ale from a brewery we JUST started getting locally. nothing outstanding, but a damn good staple and great bbq weather beer.
