Appearance: Poured from the 2 liter bottle into a pint glass. The beer is a dark cola colr that can be seen through when held to light. Head is 2 fingers thick, tan, and sticks around for a couple of minutes.
Smell: Nice malty smell with caramel and a light roasted coffee smell. I swear there's a smoky note deep in the nose somewhere, not related to the roasty smell.
Taste: Starts with a semisweet cola note, and then turns creamy with a balancing hop. Finishes with a good roasted flavor and a good malty note that keeps you coming back for more.
Notes: Easily the best Bulgarian beer I've had so far, even rivaling the good Ariana Tumno. The taste is just great, and it comes in 2 liter bottles which is an added bonus.

50 cl bottle brought home from Bulgaria by my brother. Medium dark red and brown color, big tan lasting creamy head. Malty and a bit sweet scent. Fruity taste, lasting fruity and a bit metallic aftertaste. Rather low bitterness. A bit thin body.
Oddly enough less flavor than the Kamenitza with less color and less alcohol.
