Hoppy, fresh IPA. Terrific smell and aftertaste

Aroma: Spiced orange peel, orange gum drops, grapefruit, and dank. Malt is in the back as some sweetness. No DMS, no diacetyl.

Appearance: Gold with amber highlights. White rocky head that lingers. Brilliantly clear.

Taste: High citrus bitterness, not as inviting as the aroma. Hop forward and not balanced with the malt. Lingering bitterness in the finish. No DMS, no diacetyl.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body, medium carbonation that could be a bit higher. Slight bitter astringency in the finish that isn't pleasant.

Overall: my favorite Peace Tree beer. The bitterness is a bit unbalanced with the malt profile however the aroma is really nice. Solid Midwest IPA.

On draft at Devil’s Advocate, Minneapolis.

Slight trailers over pale gold.
Passionfruit and candied orange plus bits of flowers and herbs on the nose.
Peach up front, then shifting flower, resin, nectar, and oily tangerine hops.
Squeezy lemon rind finish and fizzy sorbet linger.
Lt-med, good oil, clean

Amarillo, Citra, and Simcoe

A bit pale, but hops on a couple different levels; sticky and citrusy both. 95 IBUs is graciously hidden. Among the better IPAs for the area (not tops just because MN makes so many great beers) and curious about the brewery now.

New favorite from Peace Tree! Idk if an ipa could be more balanced. A six pack is reasonably priced. The only thing I could say that isn't exceptional is the head. I pored hard and didn't get quite a half and inch.

Appearance: Gold, good head.

Smell: Tangerines, oranges, nice.

Taste: Moderately bitter, oranges and tangerines--sweet citrus flavor. Possibly a little oxidized cardboard note. Balanced flavor.

Overall: Not 100% sure if this six pack is a little old as I'm getting some oxidized notes, but still tastes quite good. Nice tangerine flavor that I don't get in many beers. If I can be assured the beer is fresh, I'll have to try again.
