This ale is brewed with the finest quality pale, caramel, and lightly roasted malts. This complex combination of malts, contribute to the deep red color and malty flavor. This is balanced with the flavor, bitterness and aromas of three varieties of hops. The IBU’s are around 35. Top fermenting ale yeast is added to create this well rounded beer.

draught
Medium orange/caramel look. A spiced, off-dry, caramel aroma, with a fruity note. Moderate, bitey, caramel malt flavor, with a touch of wood, in the taste.

From old, undated notes. Had this on draft.
Dark rust color; mostly see-through.
Nice off-white head; very minimal lacing.
Faint nose of sweet malts.
Thin mouthfeel.
Taste follows nose; not much too it besides a slight caramel, malty sweetness. Not bad but pretty tasteless.

Decent beer but largely just easy to drink. A fine pair with anything heavy, flavorful enough to hold its own. As always with Peace Tree, however, something is missing.

Below average Amber. Felt like it was missing something on every sip. No head produced on the pour. Received this in a trade as a extra. Thankful for it but I would not recommend this beer.
