On-tap at Boneyard Bistro, Sherman Oaks, CA
A: The beer is slightly hazy light amber in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with an eighth of a finger high off white head that died down and left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste is dominated by light to moderately strong flavors of citrusy hops with oranges standing out in particular. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a nice amount of hop aromas and flavors for an American Pale Ale and is rather easy to drink.

Hazy reddish-copper in color with an off-white head that is fluffy and full. Retention is medium.
Citrus, pine needles, resin. Sweet melon, mandarin orange zest and light baking spice.
Mildly fruity with resin, fresh pine needles and citrus notes. Bright, high-toned hops are on full display.
Medium bodied mouthfeel that is carried through the palate by an intense hop bitterness. Everything finishes clean and dry with a moderate length to the beer.
I know its a West Coast APA, but the hops are just a little too much. Would like to see them toned down just a touch against the rest of the beer, allowing it to be a larger part of the story.
