a: a beautiful rich hazy amber color. solid off-white 1.5 finger head that looks real creamy. simple, yet elegant appearance

s: picking up mostly caramel malts, and a large aroma of fresh bread. if you dig deep enough you'll find some underlaying rich molasses

t: taste much follows the aroma. its clean crisp caramel and tons of fresh bread. a hint of fresh braced black pepper. finishes sweet, and with a very mild tea leaf flavor

m: medium mouthfeel that is slightly creamy and silky. not much carbonation. this is a beer i feel would be real nice on nitro

o: its super-pleasant to drink. its not overly complicated, but flavorful enough to enjoy each sip. at 5% it will probably go down real fast

Appearance-Nice red to copper amber with off white foam.

Smell-Potent strawberries and ripe, red fruit (I can smell it out of the glass when it's sitting on the counter). Grape fruit roll up as well as subtle yeast coming at the end.

Taste-The subtle yeast on the nose becomes potent wheat and yeast on the palate with the fruits falling to the background.

Mouthfeel-Full bodied and pretty hefty, good balance and excellent length on the finish.

Overall-Good beer, I like the transition from nose to palate but I would have liked to have the fruit longer than it actually sticks around.

On-tap at Rock & Brews, El Segundo, CA

A: The beer is clear yellowish amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down and left lacing on the surface and the sides of the glass and a collar around the edge.
S: Light aromas of grainy malts are present in the nose along with some notes of caramel malts.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell, except that the malts are a bit sweeter. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Despite all of its maltiness, this beer is actually quite drinkable and goes down easily.
