12oz can from Toby. Dark amber pour, patchy off-white head. Honey aroma with some toasty malts. More honey in the taste, malty. Overall too sweet for me

L: Deep, slightly golden brown color. Thick creamy tan head that dissipates quickly
S: Caramel toasted malt with hints of toffee, molasses, and floral/herbal hop notes
T: Follows nose with a bit of that namesake honey, although not too much. It's slightly sweet overall with a somewhat bitter finish.
F: Light body, moderate carbonation. A bit watery.
It's decent. Drinkable, but nothing special. The flavors seems a bit underdeveloped to me--I think I prefer more malty versions of this style. This one seems to lean a bit too much on the hops for my taste.

Poured from a 12/21 can into a snifter glass.
L: thin head that disappeared pretty quickly, low lacing. Poured amber and golden when held up to the light. Beautiful color.
S: Herbal hops at the start that fades into toasted malts. Bready. Some sweet honey
T: fairly sweet. hoppier than some of the other brown ales I’ve had recently. Hops are forward and transitions into more malt just like the smell. Dark bread on the finish.
F: little bit watery, tingly combination upfront. Very slight creamy finish.
