12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Bottled on: 08/26/2013.
Appearance: Pours a light brown body, good clarity, with a small, short-lived, white head.
Smell: Toasted breadcrusts licked with light-colored caramel and honey with cooked fruit compote and faintest, merest hint of hops.
Taste: Sweetish taste of toasted malts, with a caramel bent, and, perhaps, some perceived honey. Lightly estery, with hints of golden raisin, apple. Very restrained hop profile with a low, low bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It's definitely a light, easy-drinking brown ale. I'm down for that, but, anyone looking for high hopping or a thicker, heavier brown might do best to look elsewhere.

Overall, a very nice Brown Ale. The honey taste is very slight, which I think is actually a good thing, or else the beer would probably be just too sweet. There's also a nice nuttiness, which I would expect for a Brown Ale. The mouth feel is a bit lighter than I expected and there's a slight bit of pleasant carbonation.

Appearance: That of your standard brown ale, not a lot of head on it and has a medium brown color.
Smell: Sweet but no distinguishable aroma.
Taste: Exactly what you expect from a brown ale. A malty, not hoppy, sweet flavor.
Mouthfeel: That great taste that's almost like a better, cleaner New Castle sticks with you for a little while extra making you want another sip after it fades.
Overall: This is an above average beer. The head on it isn't so great and the smell, I wish was stronger but it tastes great and has a really good presence about it.
Serving type: on-tap
