Appearance: Pours a light copper-hued body, fairly clear, with a finger-high stack of white suds.
Smell: Resinous, pithy, cuttingly citrusy top layer of hoppiness over the base of basic, bready malts.
Taste: Pale malts with a bent of breadiness. A quick nibble of crisped sugars before taking the dive into the hops, tasting pithy, citrusy with a spicy, pine-like kick to it. Medium-plus bitterness. Dry, bitter, somewhat citric finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A solid, sufficient India Pale Ale.
Serving type: bottle
