Uh this thing is delicious I mean really really good. They take Prism's own Death March Hop-less Black Ale and ParTea Pale Ale, lock them in a room, setup the cameras, and then force them to make love. The passion and desire that is emitted from their love making infuses these two liquids into to one super substance of sensuality. That's right its like a late night Cinemax show in your mouth and everyone in the house is asleep except you.

Grabbed a growler from the taproom. Pretty cool space there...
FMZ is a blend of ParTea Pale Ale and Death March Hopless Porter. Served in a Brewers Art goblet.
Pours a dark brown with ruby highlights. Topped by a finger thick, frothy off-white head. Head doesn't stick around too much, but then again, half the beer contains no hops at all.
Smell is amazing! You can pick out both beers, which is the goal of black and tans. Prism hits the nail on the head, because in the beer, you can pick out the lemony hops of the pale ale and it goes very well with the licorice aroma of the porter. I could smell this all day!
Taste is good, with notes of anise, ginger and lemon citrus. There is a very refreshing quality from the tea, an almost astringency, but not medicinal. Bitterness is there to help balance out the porter.
Mouthfeel is round and oily. The body seems mid range, and definitely suits this beer. Carbonation is right on, not too much, and at a very natural level. I'd be interested in trying this out of a bottle.
I believe this to be a unique and successful beer. It brings something else to the table, and yet it works for the style. That is what I love about radical brewing!
