Appearance: Pours a hazed, dusty, medium brown body with a wispy, whitish head.

Smell: Toasted grain, faintly spicy rye, a little citrus and caramel.

Taste: Toasted bread with a slight rye accent and relatively low sweetness. Softly citric-edged lemon, but, like the malty sweetness, it's low. Lightly bitter aided by the rye. Lightly drying finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation (barely).

Overall: While one of the better brews from LAB, it's still a weak offering. Again and again, I find the grub the most appealing part about this place. (564 characters)
