A: Arrived a slightly cloudy, dark amber color with almost no head at all.  A very thin off-white film and ring rests atop.  Minimal lacing on the edges of the glass.

S: Smells earthy with just a touch of hops.  Not much is going on in the aroma, and the typical farmhouse characteristics are very muted.  Just a touch of some fruit in the background as it warms slightly.

T: Sweet up front with some fruit.  Slightly grainy and malty, which seems a tad askew, however, it's really pretty pleasant.  Hops are in the background, providing a nice crispness.  Very little funk and/or barnyard characteristics that I look for in farmhouse ales.  Not completely true to style, but a nice easy drinking beer.

M: Lighter side of medium bodied with a good bit of carbonation.  Soft and tingly on the palate.  Starts out sweet and becomes a little bitter, creating a slightly drying effect after each sip.

D: Very easy to drink, and it gets better with time and warmth.  Not quite what I was expecting, but it held my attention.

white foam then came up over the top, settled down to a broken crown and coated the inside of the glass with decent lacing.

The aroma was rather odd, sweet at first but as I really let it explore there were some light fruity notes, maybe peach and pineapple with a biscuit like note, very odd, but also very good. The flavor was more of the same, rich notes of caramel whirled over the tongue and separated into a light and fruity Belgian yeast and a grapefruit and pineapple like floral hoppiness. Strange, but awesome I have to admit. Really quite complex. The flavor took a turn toward the bitter and dried out the palate appropriately

Tap at LAB.
Crisp golden pour, slightly frothy white head.

Aroma, grassy, a light maltiness. Fainter red fruits and slight herbal spice.

Taste. Up front with thespice, corriander, nutmeg. Hay and a malty caramel. Some toasted and chocolate notes after. Not sure if I'd call it to style, but this was tasty. The best of all I tried while there.

Lightish body, good carbonation and very easy drinking. Would not guess even 7.1%. Only thing holding this back was the aroma.
