Pours a clear, copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of pine-y hops, floral hops, hint of grass, and slight sweet malt. Fits the style of an English Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an low carbonation level. Tastes of strong pine-y hops, strong floral hops, hint of sweet malt, and a hint of earthy malt. Overall, this beer is dominated by the hops. In my opinion, it is too excess. The other ingredients are hard to distinguish and tends to mask any complexity.

Enjoyed on-tap @ the Third Base Sports Bar & Brewery in Iowa City, IA for $2.75 (Industry night special). Tapped from the Silver lined tap handle w/ Una Mas on it into a 16oz Pint Glass. Says it has 51 IBU's on the chart as well.
Aroma- Has a great piney and grassy aroma from start to finish. Has even a bit of skunkiness to it. Vey refreshing.
Appearance- Received with a 1 finger head that lasts for a good amount of time. A clear golden body is present and thick lacing is left after each drink!
Flavor- Has a great piney taste with bit of citrus that lingers. Has a medium hop bitterness and perfect level of flavor coming from these Simcoe Hops.
Mouthfeel- Light-Medium Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Clean, Refreshing, and leaves good citrus character behind.
Overall Impression- As one of their brand spankin new beers, this Simcoe Hopped Pale Ale is very refreshing and was perfect to start out the night! Enjoyed it tons and wish I could have gotten to the Amarillo Hopped Pale Ale also. Will be keeping my eyes on coming back here to try more of these!
