I love when I find a beer I haven't reviewed yet, but have been drinking for over two decades.
Pale straw color, massive clarity to it. Super pretty, practically the opposite of neipa. Full on 3/4" white head, good retention. Has all the expected European noble hop aroma. Tad bit of sulphur in the aroma, but not nearly as much as my weird ass appreciates.
Taste is a crisp, light, noble hop experience with a surprisingly thick malt quotient given the style and lighter appearance. Had that feel of wood, caramel and toffee that is usually found in stronger, maltier styles. Solid bitterness to it. Carbonation comes off prickly but the beer still has a breadiness that is bigger than most in this style.
Its been around forever, Gold @ 1995 GABF. I dunno though, might have only been 11 entries back then or some other low number. I think it falls into the decent but not great category.

A: Light grain malts and moderate noble hops with a slight sulfury aroma.
A: Light golden color, very clear with a fairly thick white head. The white head wasn’t all that long lasting***
***said beer was poured into a shaker pint, rather than a Pilsner glass.
T: Moderately crisp with a semi-dry finish. No noticeable sweetness, moderate hop bitterness flavor.
M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Pretty solid effort; the beer exhibited pretty classic German Pilsner aroma. However, the beer could be a bit crisper, finish drier, and be a slightly more refreshing.

Pours a hazy, straw color. 5/4 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, pale malt, hint of caramel malt, yeast, slight hop, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of a German Pilsner. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level . Tastes of sweet malt, pale malt, hops, hint of wheat, and strong yeast. A good pilsner; nice body, aroma, and blend.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, straw yellow color with a small, thin, white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, toffee and spicy hops. Sweet caramel and toffee with a sharp bitterness.
