The focus of this large package store is on hard liquor, and the beer coolers are all at the back, but you can still find a good variety of beers. They have plenty of local craft brews and imports in addition to the usual industrial mega-brewed lagers. The staff are friendly, helpful and apparently well-trained, and I had no trouble getting checked out quickly and efficiently. Though probably not the best beer store in the general area, it is worth a visit if you happen to be in or near Woodstock.

I found this place driving on Highway 92 a few weeks back and after going in there and finding a few things I haven't been able to find outside of Hop City, I figure I should go ahead and review this place. First off when I told them I like the fact they have all this craft beer, the clerk said "We love our craft beer", which is awesome. Anyways they have one row of about 5 shelves of bombers, and then 5-6 coolers with sixers in them. They carry all the locals, as well as Stone, DFH, Bells, Founders, and many more. It doesn't have the selection of Hop City or Green's but no one in the Atlanta area does. Very good store and will be my go to store from now on. Only thing I wish they had was a pick six option which I might mention to them next time I go in. Which will be today.

Went from Chattanooga for a beer run towards the Atlanta area. My main reason for visiting Atlanta was to find Founders Breakfast Stout. Came upon Lucky's due to a local brew distributors recommendation and was not disappointed. I was able to purchase 4 packs (16 total) of the Breakfast Stout. This was the only place in Atlanta and the outskirts of Atlanta that had the Breakfast Stout. The staff was very friendly and helpful - the gentleman knew what he was talking about. The beer was also great and offered a wide selection of seasonals, crafts, and import beers. The prices were spot on. Wish I lived in Atlanta :)

This location is fairly new. Over the past year the beer cooler has gone from bud - bud light to Tommy knocker, founders, bells and St.Bernardus. You have a good to very good selection of micro brews in the back right corner and it seems to be growing. They also have a mediocre import section. Maudite, lion stout, and Sammy to name a few. My only quam: no dry stock beer. Everything is in the cooler. Hopefully my boys over @ luckys will read this and step up their game to match some of the heavy hitters in ATL.
Edit: I went back again today. They now have expanded their stock to include southern tier they also added dry stock. I spoke with the "beer guy" and he mentioned this beer fly review. Let me just say: lowest prices in ATL!!!!

Stopped here while visiting my brother recently. From what I understand, this is a new store that recently opened. We didn't have much time but it appeared that most of the store was dedicated to wine and maybe liquor. We went straight to the back where they have the beer in a large section of coolers. I have not been to many beer stores in Atlanta, but the selection was pretty good compared to what I can find around Chattanooga. Mostly 4 & 6-packs. Fair amount of Belgians and American micros. Prices were great compared to what I pay here. Saved significant $$$ on beers such as St. Bernardus, Unibroue, Great Divide Hercules, etc.
