Stopped by on Friday.. Blonde, triple, brown, DIPA, red and stout. The DIPA was a big hoppy ale at 9%, unfiltered and delicious. Had the triple next and it had a nice candy/alc taste that was all right. Sampled the brown and it was a light roast & malty ale. I finished with Red, a nice amber colored, malty slightly hoppy ale. Overall very drinkable brews and will be back for sho.

If you are standing outside of Huntington Beach Brewing Co, turn @ and make the drive down to Newport Beach Brewing Company. Trust me, do yourself a "flavor"

Cheers: The red ale was decent enough. When it FINALLY arrived.

Jeers: An insult to the brewing community. Sure it has a outdoor elevated patio, but that patio is mobbed with pretentious d bags and their even lamer friends: the staff. Actually, that's the only thing that HBBC has going for it. I am willing to be that the same lameo bromos that frequent this trainwreck would still shuffle on down if they served Busch Light in plastic cups and said that it was the Blonde Ale. An upgrade to their food would be to serve bait from the pier and call it sushi. But then again, sushi might get all insulted and stuff and go konichiwa on HBBC. Which is just what this place needs: a swift kick in the keester. Saying that this place is horrible is an understatement. Service was atrocious, staff was rude and arrogant, food was sub par. If you read the Yelp reviews, they just don't care about how patrons in the community perceive them. Honestly, the WORST restaurant and bar (notice that I didn't call it a brewery/) that I have ever experienced. This is a never again.

This place relies on its location.

How can someone resist a nano brewery? well, try your best to resist this place, if you're ever in the Huntington Beach area.

Atmosphere: the best part, the only good part. and upstairs restaurant with a nice outdoor dining area that over looks the huntington beach shopping area

Quality/Selection: the beer was awful...honestly one of the worst breweries out there. they only have very poor examples of common styles. My guess is that the purpose of this place was to be a gimmick to make money rather than making good quality beer.

Food: also terrible. extremely greasy, burnt, and just poor quality.

If this brewery was not in a touristy area, it would've failed very quickly.
