I've had this IPA many times and keep going back for this award winner.
A - Copper color with reddish hue. Low head with light lacing. Clear beer.
S - Pungent hop aroma with notes of citrus prevailing.
T - Great hop flavor that shines through with a citrus character and hints of pine. Some orange and grapefruit have a grip on this brew. Smooth with a solid hop bitterness to finish crisp. Some malt in the middle of it with a nice sweetness to give balance.
M - Medium mouth-feel with the tones of sweetness. Lower carbonation.
Overall, one of my favorite IPAs. If you're a hop head this is your session beer. Perfect blend of citrus hops and malt for an IPA. If you haven't tried it you should. I'd drink it every day to give my hops thirst a quench. May want to try it with a slice of orange to give it a stronger citrus flavor.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is a little grassy, but does not have a lot of hop character to it. Taste is a little bit bitter, but not overly so, and has a strong malt backbone to it. Not a huge fan of this...

12oz bottle from zrab11 (thanks man!). No identifiable bottle date. Served in a Southern Tier snifter.
Pours murky russet orange with one and a half finger near white head. A good bit of lace.
Smells like a hop biscuit. Plenty of piney and earthy hops backed by a noticeable malt sweetness.
No suprises in the taste, given how it smells. Very malt forward for an IPA with sweet bread, biscuit, pine, flower petals, a tad of garlic, a little pepper and bitter citrus peel. Quite bitter overall despite the malts.
Medium slick feel with quite a bit of carbonation. Long, dry, bitter finish.
In my opinion, Mound Builder is a mislabled red ale. From appearance to aroma to flavor, this is not what is expected for an IPA. Don't get me wrong- it's not bad at all but rated "to style" it can't hang. I would have given it much better ratings as a red.
