A great find in Ridgefield, CT, though hardly a secret. Seems like the parking lot is always full and the place is packed. Easy enough to kill time at Ancona's down the road though.

Great "upscale" pub fare - definitely a notch (or two) above what you might find at a typical brewpub. Great burgers and sandwiches, and lots of creative apps to choose from. Interesting specials.

4 standard beers with a mystery rotation - I have seen Palm, Leffe to just name two - paired with a 35 bottle list, ranging from basic 12 oz-ers to growlers served in ice buckets.

They are very good about updating beer/food specials on Facebook.

Good food, good beer, what's not to like??

What a find in Ridgefield CT. Over 35 different beers to choose from several different countries. 5 beers on tap with a "mystery tap" that rotates product (currently serving Hoegaarden white ale). They even serve Berkshire beer growlers in ice buckets (evidently you can take your growler home if you do not finish it).

Come for the beer, but stay for the food. A pub style menu with old standards (fish and chips) and innovative new dishes (ahi tuna tacos). Burgers are also really good.

A terrific English pub atmosphere with rough wood ceiling, plaster walls, and a bumpin soundtrack. Worth the trip and much less expensive than going to Europe.

I really enjoy going to the little pub. Everytime I go its a good experience. All of the staff is warm and easy going. The atmosphere is old style and I love it. The food is very good for the prices. The only thing I wish for is more micro drafts. They have a rotating mystery draft that is always very good and hand picked by people who know good micros. I must say they choose wisely everytime. They also have a decent bottle selection of micros, which is nice. They do a great job and this pub is a place ill keep coming back to.

A very cool place with some rustic charm. Tap list was somewhat generic/macro. The bottle list was good - not great - could use a few more Belgians, strong locals and IPA/IIPAs.

Staff was friendly and knowledgable; service was spot-on. Received a round (2 of us) on the house after initial two beers.

Food was quite good (was there at lunch - wraps, nachos, etc.) There is outddor seating - yet - you are on top of Route 7 - so the view is less than bucolic.

All-in-all a very charming place to grab a beer if in the area.

Located along Route 7 in the Branchville section of Ridgefield is The Little Pub. This space was formerly an antiques store for many years. Long ago, at one point, I believe that it had been used for a restaurant and bar. It is a cozy space anyway.

Since it is cozy and popular, it is crowded with a parking lot that is often full on the evenings. There are a couple places nearby to park, that involve dodging some traffic, be careful. They 5 taps, mostly macro. The selection shines in bottles and a couple cans. Bottles include Delerium Tremens, Berkshire Cabin Fever, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Hitachino White, DFH 90 and others. Cans include Oskar Blues Old Chubb, Young`s Double Chocolate and a couple more. Their food is very good, serving basic pub fare with a twist. Fish tacos for example, in addition to burgers, pastrami sandwiches and calamari. Service is also very good. Especially, considering it is so small and crowded. You may not find a beer that you have never had before, but you may revisit one of the aforementioned selections while having a great meal.
