750 ml bottle, corked and caged. Best Before 01-19-07
Pours out a hazy pinkish pale gold and sits a foggy peach-amber in the glass with a large fluffy faintly pink-tinted bone white head. Fades slowly leaving a good skim on the surface and some light lacings around the glass.
Fresh and flowery aroma of currants, cranberries, stawberry and orange peel. Light wheaty dustings around the edges with hints of corriander and melon. Intoxicating and attractive aroma.
Tastes faintly fruity up front, lending a few light traces of grapes with tart, nearing sour skins. Currants build up and explode in a frenzy of fruit flavors. Honeydew, plums, pineapple, and mango all contribute to this eclectic mix of flavors. Soft, dusty core of dry, crackery yeast holds out through the finish, with some light bitterness lending some grassy flavors.
Soft, light and lucious in the mouth. Carbonation fine and delicate, ever expanding in the mouth. Absolutely brilliant.
Haven't found too many fruit beers worthy of even an occasional purchase, but this is one of the best. Very mild in approach compared to the locally produced fruit beers around here, but in that way, it's almost more enjoyable. Pick apart the tiniest fragments of flavor and you've got yourself one marvelously complex beer.

A: Pink. A very unique color that I've never seen in a beer before. Tiny white head on the top throughout.
S: Berries! Blueberries, boysenberries, raspberries, blackberries. Smells like a berry lollipop.
T: Sweet berries on the front end, finishing out with some lemon peel and coriander. Finishes very sour.
M: Super bubbly. Champagne type bubbles.
O: A very unique beer, very fruity and unique. Will seek out again.
