Sorry but this following comment is in french :

Appearance : jaune ocre, belle effervescence
Smell : nez de levure, sucré
Taste and mouthfeel : sucréé avec une amertume d'alcool
Drinkability (in 2000) : une ale forte brassée par Unibroue au Québec (je pense que cette bière n'est plus produite)

2000 bottle had at the saturday gathering of Mondial de la bière 2004 Very light amber body. Thin off-white film. Aroma has that dry yeast pencil shaving characteristics that I love in Saison. Mild alcohol, rather complex peachy fruitiness. Abundance of spices, pepper, mint. Very pleasant aroma. In mouth, there’s an initial tasty attack, lemony, fruity, yeasty with heather notes, spices a plenty, but it, too quickly, fades away and become a little still. The time slowly won the battle against this legendary Quebec beer. RIP.
