Poured from bottle to wide-mouth wine glass.
Deep amber color with lots of carbonation and a thick, creamy white head. Plenty of lacing sticks around for a while.
Rich, fruity nose, with some spicy notes: I thought of both coriander and nutmeg. Bready undertones.
Strong, yeasty flavor, to be expected from an ale on lees. Plenty of breadiness from the yeast, along with some cinnamon and orange peel. Has the mouthfeel to match; good body.
Almost too drinkable. I put away the second half a bit fast, without thinking, and definitely got the alcohol's effect.
