A: Pours cloudy, dull orange. Generous, fluffy, white as snow head.
S: Ripe fruit and sweetness. That strange Belgian yeast smell is also evident
T: Fruity esters from smell make a good presence in the taste. Candy sugar. Some bready malt. Only a hint of alcohol which is surprising as this beer is 9.0 abv. High carbonation scrubs away some of the flavor in my opinion. Swishing the beer around in the glass takes care of this problem. Medium-low bitterness. No noticeable hop flavor or aroma. Alcohol taste and warming increase as the beer warms up. I'm starting to notice a little sourness as well.
M: Medium body. High carbonation
D: This beer is extremely drinkable given its high alc content. This could really be a devil to the unsuspecting drinker. The flavors blend nicely.
All in all, great beer which showcases the unique Belgian yeast and candi sugar. Not as good as Maudite by the same brewer, but definitley worth trying if you haven't. Probably wouldn't buy this particular brew again because of the price, but I am very impressed so far with this brewery
