12 oz cold bottle into pint glass, unintelligible date code
Appearance - Hazy dark golden, 1.5 finger head recedes to thin foam cap and stays, decent lacing, looks enticing.
Smell - Just amazingly harmonius with fruity, yeasty, spicy goodness aplenty! It's got a unique smell to me... sweet bubblegum or something, but light and airy. Delicious.
Feel/Taste - Lively carb, tingly, full body but carb makes it seem much lighter. Where is the alcohol here? Very well hidden. Taste follows the nose perfectly with fruity yeast, spicy coriander, and relatively light bready malt. Alcohol becomes just feintly apparant as it warms, and finishes just off dry.
Overall - Delicious. This stuff is dangerously easy to drink with the 9% ABV hardly there. I haven't had a great deal of tripels, but this is easily the best so far. The flavor and body is just so harmonious.
