Pours a generous creamy off-white head over a hazy golden hued body. Minimal lace. Aromas of light lemony citrus, yeast and coriander. Light and slightly sweet in the mouth, Light citrus and coriander are also evident in the flavor, perhaps a bit of ginger as well, but there is a much more substantial malt complexity to provide balance. Still, the spices are definite player. A decent hop bitterness also helps to round things out. Definitely well-carbonated, providing a light body and crisp mouthfeel and finish. Although as it warms it becomes softer.
Not my favorite of the Unibroue crew, but still a tasty Belgian style ale from N. America. There is a nice complexity of flavor despite the light character of the ale, but if you dont like coriander this probably isnt for you. Nicely done Quebec.
