Poured from a 12-oz. bottle into my Terrapin snifter.
Appearance: Incredibly great. A one-finger foamy white head sits atop this cloudy pale orange tripel like a crown. Excellent retention. Good lacing.
Smell: Kind of vegetable-y in that funky Belgian way; very nice. Some alcohol too. There are some citrus tones as well.
Taste: Oh... yeah, this is nice. Yeasty malts combine with fruity, citrusy hops to make this a really damn tasty ale. It's got the perfect amount of alcohol presence on the palate, and it's pleasantly warming going down. I get some tangy, kind of grassy bitterness too. You want to sip this and really savor it; there's a lot to explore here.
Mouthfeel: Rather full-bodied; it coats the mouth well.
Drinkability: Outstanding! I am really, really enjoying the hell out of this, and it reminds me why top-quality Belgian-style beers are second to none.
This is utterly fantastic.
