12 oz. bottle into a La Fin Du Monde tulip...
A: A cloudy golden straw color with a MASSIVE head full of large bubbles. Heavy lacing with good retention.
S: Full rich aromas pour out of the glass... yeast, esters, a bit of cloves and a lot of corriander assualt the nose.
T: Solid malt profile with a strong yeasty flavor. I also taste ripe fruit and a spice that lingers on for a while. As this beer warms up, the alcohol comes through stronger.
M: Very carbonated with a fairly thin body. The carbonation tickles the tongue and brings out the flavor.
D: Easier to drink than some of the other tripels I have had, but the high alcohol content can seriously limit the ammount of these you could drink in a single session.
