Glass Used: Goblet
Appearance: Golden yellow with a near crystal clear body; marshmallow fluff white micro bubble foam floats on top, slowly shrinking down leaving an eighth of an inch lace behind. When I envision sitting down to an ale, this is it.
Smell: Very floral with heavy coriander up front, followed by malt and booze after. You can pick up the sweetness in the nose too. Very delightful!
Taste: Sweet honey, full juicy fruits - apple, pear, banana, and spice (warming, like cloves?) & malt. Wow. Balanced; no one flavor overpowers another. I'm really digging this.
Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated; medium body and dry.
Overall: Picked this up solely on reputation as I recently had a local tripel which left me wanting to explore this style. This is pretty dang good.
Serving type: bottle
