This is a very fine beer, and yet another reason why Unibroue should be regarded as one of North America's premeir breweries.
Light golden in color, hazy with a *lot* of carbonation. The head dissipated fairly quicky, but perhaps this was due to my glass rather than the beer.
Aroma is fruity, hints of banana and tropical fruit. Yeast is very unobtrusive.
The beer is terrifically balanced, with European hops, gentle corriander, and a peppery cloveish spiciness sitting atop a sweet light malty body. Medium bodied, though feels lighter due to high carbonation. Slightly dry finish. You'll feel the alcohol before you taste it.
Exceptionally well-done tripel.
