12oz bottle marked "F 180807560" poured into my fin du monde tulip glass.
Appearance is cloudy golden orange with an immense white head - nearly three fingers.
Scent is fruit and spice. Bread. Pineapple. White pepper.
Taste is sublime. Pineapple and tropical fruits, sweet candy sugar, tangy yeast. Pepper and white pepper spices as well as clove. Brief appearance of bitter hops. Some sour and citric flavors - lemon. The spicey, sweet and bitter notes mingle and merge on the tongue long after the sip.
Mouth is rich and coating - even a bit syrupy - with a fine carbonation.
Drinkabilty is excellent; high abv is completely undetectible
Trippels tend not to be my favorite style but this is an ale I have loved since I first had it years ago. Exceptional in every way.
