Poured 12oz bottle into snifter
A - A just-cloudy orange blonde body contrasts nicely with a white head which diminishes to a thick film in a few minutes. No head halfway through, no lacing.
S - Oh, those lovely yeasties; spicy, banana, some bubblegum: complex, I'm sure others will find something else.
T - Wheaty and spicy, finishes quickly. Citrus, peppery, fruits - esp banana. The 9% blends in well and gives a slight bite that matches up with the spiciness.
M - Plenty of carbonation. Quaff bubbles off middle of tongue vigorously, finishing quickly and leaving a smooth, buttery texture in the mouth.
O - A good brew. Characteristics of the yeast rule the taste and nose, this fits the bill when I feel like a solid Belgian style.
