Pours a cloudy yellow/amber, fine white head. Mild lacing. Aroma is bright and juicy.. estery apples, melon, candied fruits, caramel, maybe a hint of lemon, and just a little bit of bitters and malts linger in the background. Smells like a Belgian. You can tell its got some good potency. Getting excited..
This is delicious. Really, really tasty stuff. Bright, juicy fruits combine with a floral bouquet and just a hint of the buttered-biscuit malty goodness you expect with these Belgians. The juiciness is out of control complex, and it's hard to pinpoint it exactly- is that guava nectar, honey melon? Sweet and delicious. Nectar of the gods. Sugary tropical goodness.
Moderate in the body, it has a bit of a sticky, dry mouthfeel...which makes it extremely drinkable. All in all a very pleasurable "Belgian" experience.
