Excellent little Trip from Canada. Not bad vs. Belgium.

12oz bottle at $47.00/24pk at The Beer Store

A- Opens with a typical Unibroue snap. Pours with huge head and an almost coppery colour. Head stays for a few then tapers to a skim

S- Pepper, citrus and coriander

T- Very very good. Spice hits the middle of the tongue right away. Mellows out to a peppery, coriander flavor. Very carbonated and stays that way throughout the bottle. Gets a touch bitter at the end after warming.

O- Another sample for the cellar. Will see how this one goes as the years roll by as well.

For a couple of 24pk investments per year this is a great one to keep around and sample regularly. I like it.

Food Pairing

This spicy young Tripel will pair nicely with... Pad Thai

This beer is a great little match with Pad Thai. The peanuts and coriander in the Pad Thai just opens up this offering when the beer hits 15-18deg C. Open at 10deg C, sip and let it open up to 15deg C and begin dinner. Try a few bites then watch what you taste...

this tripel really focuses on the yeast and Belgian characteristics.

A-slightly cloudy ,pours orange-ish copper with a nice foamy head.

S- bananas yeast clove bready alcohol

T-well balanced on the sweeter /heavier side. remnants of a hefeweizen in this brew with the banana / cloves...tasty and very crisp but a little TOO sweet for me to session, but still highly drinkable even a 9%abv.

M-nice carbonation with a fruity ,tangy, spicy type freshness...very, very easy to drink.

O- overall this is a great beer that is very well balanced and very well crafted.
I keep it around for when I only want one or two beers at night.

purchased at winn Dixie in marco island,fl for 8.99$ for a 4pk. ,sometimes they place it in the make your own 6pack /mix-n-match area for 8.99...whatever they say. lol
