Long time drinker, first time reviewer.

The dryness and spicy, funky edge are what really detract from me saying: "this is the perfect tripel."
It's what's not there. The fruit I expect from a tripel is quiet. It's there in some ways, but I just love the big passionfruit and honey flavors some tripels have. Now, this has some beautiful sweetness; banana, heavy in body, and inexact, but nice . . . just not that golden raisin, nectar-like, champagne sweetness I want. Spicy, clove, coriander, funk are in control.

Okay, it's a great brew. I just like other heavy hitting tripels a bit better.

A: Pours a pale yellow sunrise. Nice cloudy haze. Very foamy white head. Champagne like carbonation provides plenty of bubbles.

S: Floral/spicy/lemon citrus/coriander & pepper

T: Yum! Fruity-nectarine, peaches, & mango. Spices/cloves/alcohol/sweet with a dry finish.

M: Clean finish

O: High alcohol content is cleverly masked by the potpourri of flavors.

2 thumbs up

Pours cloudy golden. 2 finger head that dissipated quickly but left some lacing

Smells of fermenting fruit

Tastes of fermenting fruit and sweet (way to sweet )more of a cider taste than beer for me.But definatley more flavorful than macro brew. High abv is hidden well.Slightly tinney taste. But smooth going down.

Very carbonated but in a good way.

Mouth feel is smooth flavour dissipated quickly.

Overall OK. Would not purchase again as it is not my style. I am a hop head this brew was too sweet and reminded me of fallen fruit off a tree which is fermenting. Still more interesting than macro. And the abv kept me entertained

750 mL bottle in to a pint glass

A- Pours a fizzy, white two-finger head with a beautiful hazy golden body

S- Smells hits your nose with a big punch of spicy citrus fruits masking some darker fruits. The vast depth of the aroma is just great.

T- The spice is quickly apparent, followed by a ton of various fruit flavors, and sweet ones at that: banana, apple, grape, pear, and orange. Man, this is outstanding. A hint of an alcohol presence, but that's understandable at 9% ABV.

M- The body is medium and carbonation plentiful, tickling the tongue and refreshing the pallet. You can down this stuff pretty quickly.

O- This is an extremely well-rounded tripel that I won't think twice about purchasing in the near future. Probably my favorite beer as of now.

Pours a hazy golden sunrise color with a tremendous towering white head that slowly dissipates in chunks leaving a rocky lace and spider webs across the glass. Nose is of fruity esters with notes of banana, clove, bubblegum, and a bit of spicy alcohol. Fairly full in body with a very fine champagne-like carbonation that is oh so smooth. Taste begins with a good deal of fruitiness (nectarine, pear, peach, mango, and white grape) and flowery honey blended with peppery clove. Next comes some powdery yeasts and a bit of bready malt followed by a touch of drying alcohol
